Author: Mariana Pacheco Blanco

My background is in biological sciences research. I started studying proteins involved in sepsis, then I studied properties of macrophages originated from human monocytes. For my PhD in Biology I studied leukocyte transmigration, an immunological crucial process. Later, I studied survival mechanisms of strange B cells, non-Hodgkin lymphomas. Currently I manage scientific projects funded by the European Union. My passion was, is and will be Immunology.
