Author: Valeria Montoya

I'm a graduate student in Microbiology and Immunology at Stony Brook University. I went into the T cell rabbit hole, and I work to understand how T cells interact and actively respond to changing conditions within their microenvironment. I am fascinated by host-pathogen interactions and how immune systems have co-evolved with microbes through millennia in a complex relationship of survival and co-existence.
